Privacy policyWe don't collect your data. The design makes sure of it.
This covers anomie.cc and the Anomie app at anomie.cc/app. Anomie has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies and no trackers. Your keys, your history and your trading record stay on your device.

What stays on your device
Everything personal is created and kept in your browser's storage for this site, and is never sent to Anomie:
- Your vault: your spend and viewing keys, encrypted with your password, plus your activity list and your one-time addresses.
- Your Anomie ID and Proof of Alpha: your handle, the private links between it and your wallets, and any attestations you generate. Nothing about them leaves your device unless you choose to publish a profile.
- Demo data: today the app is a simulation, so balances, trades and proofs inside the vault are generated and stored locally.
- Small settings, such as your theme and the last wallet you connected.
Your private balance is found by decrypting notes in your browser: nobody else, including Anomie, learns which notes are yours. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes all of it. Your recovery key is the only way to restore it, and Anomie never has it.
What Anomie's servers see
In the current demo, private actions never reach an Anomie server: they are simulated in your browser. The site itself is delivered by a hosting provider, which, like any web host, receives your IP address and the pages you request.
When the protocol is deployed, the app will connect to Anomie's own servers:
- Relayer: will receive the transactions you ask it to submit, with their proofs, and fee or quote requests (the tokens, amounts and, for a withdrawal, the destination address). Those transactions become public on Solana once sent.
- Indexer: will serve public on-chain data, the same to everyone: encrypted notes, the Merkle tree, token information, and the Proof of Alpha profiles people chose to publish.
- Solana gateway: will forward your app's Solana requests, such as balance lookups and transaction status, to a Solana node provider. The provider will see Anomie's server, not you.
None of them is designed to keep access logs or IP addresses. Your IP address will be used only in memory to limit how many requests one client can make.
Other parties
- Your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or another Solana wallet) connects under its own terms. Anomie only asks it for your public address.
- Solana: once deployed, every shield and withdrawal will be recorded on Solana, publicly and permanently, like any Solana transaction. What happens inside your private balance will not.
- A Solana node provider and Jupiter (for private trades) will receive requests from Anomie's servers, never from your browser.
- Our hosting provider serves the site under its own policies.
Anomie does not sell, rent or share personal data, and uses none for advertising or profiling.
Public profiles
- A Proof of Alpha profile is public by design, but only once you publish it. It shows your Anomie ID handle and the aggregates you chose to attest.
- It never contains a wallet address, a position or a balance, and the proof reveals none of them.
- You can stop sharing a profile at any time. Copies someone already saved, and anything recorded on Solana, can't be recalled.
Your choices
You can delete everything Anomie stored on your device at any time, as described above. Anomie holds no personal data about you on its servers, so there is nothing to request, correct or delete there. Data already on Solana cannot be changed or deleted by anyone.
Anomie is not directed at children under 18.
